When I grow up...

This past week was graduation at work. I was able to be the photographer this year which was a lot of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed watching my little kids sing the songs we have been practicing, and then walk across the little bridge and answer the big question... Miss Jody proceeded to ask each child what they wanted to be when they grew up. We had quiet the variety of answers ranging from doctors to zoo keepers, from princesses to aviators, from firemen to ballerinas. Each child answered this thought provoking question.
This question made me think back to the days when I was often asked the same exact question. "Brooke- what do you want to be when you grow up?" I can hear myself answering- "a teacher."
As I watched my kiddos graduate I thought how many of them are really going to become ballerinas, princesses, aviators, doctors, and zoo keepers. Then I thought- Lucky me. I have grown up to be just what I have always wanted be - A teacher.
You see as a young child I knew what I wanted out of life- I wanted to touch the future, therefore I decided to teach...
I am so glad that I have been able to fulfill my dream...
